Prom. With all the expectations, fancy dress, and hype, it’s like New Year’s Eve for high schoolers, only with less booze (maybe).

The Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 19, “Pictures of You” features the Mystic Falls gang’s first prom. They’re all gorgeous, supernatural (well, almost of all them), and well apparelled. They’re basically prom dates from heaven. So who would you invite?

Stefan (Paul Wesley)
Pros: When you can get him on the dance floor, he has some great moves and he’ll probably quote John Hughes movies to you.
Cons: He may ditch you if his ex-girlfriend is in trouble.

Elena (Nina Dobrev)
Pros: With no emotions, she’s all about having fun.
Cons: She may break your neck with no warning.

Damon (Ian Somerhalder)
Pros: He’ll probably sneak some liquor in his flask and make snarky remarks all night.
Cons: The chaperones may find him age-inappropriate and bar him from the dance.

Caroline (Candice Accola)
Pros: She’ll be determined to make the dance an enjoyable and memorable one.
Cons: Because she’s responsible for the whole thing going off without a hitch, she may be too distracted to hang out with you.

Bonnie (Kat Graham)
Pros: With her magical skills, Bonnie can probably change the music when the DJ plays something lame and do a dozen other cool tricks to ensure you’re happy.
Cons: She may or not still want to bring her ex-boyfriend back from the dead.

Tyler (Michael Trevino)
Pros: He’ll definitely know where the best after-parties are.
Cons: He might be hard to get ahold of.

Klaus (Joseph Morgan)
Pros: Instead of a corsage, he’ll probably bring you a diamond-encrusted bracelet.
Cons: There’s another girl in his life.

Elijah (Daniel Gillies)
Pros: He probably pitches fantastic woo and you already know he looks good all dressed up.
Cons: If you’re in high school, he’s almost old enough to be your father.

Rebekah (Claire Holt)
Pros: Hate dancing? She’ll probably stand in a corner and make snarky comments about everyone with you.
Cons: If you make her angry, he may rip out your heart. Literally.

Pros: You’ll probably get lucky at the end of the night.
Cons: Honestly? She’s probably too cool for prom.
